Introducing… Last Chance – dead or alive

As I’ve mentioned numerous times over the past couple of months, now that On the Verge – the Arrow of Time is complete, I’ve got the chance to do something new and different. Today, I want to announce what my brand new comic project is. I am super excited to present Last Chance – dead or alive.

One of the main reasons that I want to get this out there is because I really want to share the “work-in-progress” as I go. And it really makes no sense posting stuff if you guys don’t know what it’s all about. Anyway, I’ll have a post going up tomorrow that will give you some more background about just what this new project is all about and where’s it come from, but until then, here’s a sneak peek at some of the concept art that I’ve developed so far.

Above are some early concept sketches from June 2012. Very early on I knew the type of aesthetic that wanted for Veronika, so these sketches just worked right away.

Doodles, doodles and more doodles. I think the biggest thing that I’ve had to really figure out is how to draw different stuff after six years of working and drawing On the Verge characters. Above you can see me fiddling all sorts of pieces that added up to become the character and story of Last Chance.
