On the Verge – The Arrow of Time – Page 249

Today’s page is one of my favourites so far – La Fleur looking bad ass.

So why was this one of my favourite pages? Well this is another one of those images that I had in my head way back when I started working on this project. And now, more than five years later and 249 pages in I finally get to post it. Anyway, I know we’ve kind of probed La Fleur’s motivations a couple of different times over the past couple of chapters, but I figure that you need at least one bad ass looking page where your villain monologues a bit, right? Anyway, things are now getting serious. Where does it go from here?

Also, next week we hit page 250!

I just wanted to post a quick update as well to mention that inking on Chapter 9 is well underway and I’m about a third of the way through. This is a big chapter in this story and I’m really just trying to nail the art for it. Plus, it’s the last bit of work left and I don’t want to drop the ball at the very end.
