On the Verge – The Arrow of Time – Page 258

Last week ended with a bit of a cliffhanger, so let’s just get to today’s page…

When page 253 was posted, I talked quite a bit about the inevitability of this whole situation. Everything has been set up since the very start of the story and we’ve been barreling towards this point for a while now. This was one of those plot points that I definitely struggled with and I tried to really work around it. But in order for things to really matter, certain things need to happen. As well, this kind of informs everything that happens from here on out.

Speaking of which, there still is lots of story left and next week we keep plowing ahead.

I’m keeping it super short again this week but the BIG news that I want to share is that I’ve finished off the covers for THE ARROW OF TIME that I’ve been working on for the past couple of weeks. This really means that for all intents and purposes, work on this story is wrapped. It’s a little bittersweet to reach the end of actively working on this story since it’s been such a huge part of my life for over five years now. But, I’m really excited to be done and I’m looking forward to getting started on some new projects – one of which will be ANOTHER On the Verge story. I have to say, after 5+ years, I have a lot of different story ideas floating around for these characters that I haven’t had time to do. So for all you following along, thanks and there’s definitely more OTV on the way.

So while I may be done actively working on THE ARROW OF TIME, that’s actually a good thing because there will be no delays and we still have quite a bit of story left to tell. And as you can see from today’s page, there’s still lots of things that can happen.
