Today’s spread picks up off of last week’s – basically think of it as part 2 (of 2)…

I love how this spread turned out and I got to include some of my favourite images from the story!

So yeah, I have LOTS of thoughts about where this is all going, but I’m going to save them for a later date when more has been revealed. Let me finish off today’s post by saying that I’m going to keep quiet for the next couple of weeks and just post the pages without sharing any thoughts. From here on out, it’s all about hurtling towards the conclusion of this little tale.

I figured I’d do a quick little note about work on THE BUTTERMAN today as well. Last week I made good progress but didn’t quite get as far as I thought I would. Life and work and stuff just got in the way a bit. It happens, so no real concern. Anyway, I did manage to get all of the rendering tests done and I’m thinking that the pages are looking good so far.

So with all of the pre-work completed, that meant that I could jump into final inking – starting with the cover. Here’s a sneak peek of things starting out as I start to block in the blacks. Things are starting to take shape!
